The candidate will provide APREL post-sales support to our customers for APREL’s current system portfolio as well as next generation solutions. This support includes commissioning, installation, diagnosing, testing and troubleshooting of complex issues including analysis of the logical configuration and operation of the users system and measurement applications.
Global Technical Support Engineer/Technologist will:
- Troubleshoot APREL product problems and escalate to the proper level
- Subject to the limitations of customers installed software and hardware, work to resolve APREL product issues/problems
- Provide remote and telephone technical support for APREL’s system portfolio
- Availability for after-hour phone support, and or pre-arranged after hours maintenance window support
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and customers on an as needed basis
- Availability to travel, sometimes on short notice
- Travel approximately 40%

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of integrated systems
- Knowledge of electronic and radio frequency test equipment (spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes etc)
- Knowledge and understanding of robotic concepts
Required Experience
- Extensive experience administering systems based on windows platforms
- Software programming skills
- Experience in providing technical support
- Experience of operating test equipment
- Scripting, JAVA , basic code understanding
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Desired a minimum 1-2 years’ experience in supporting/deploying/systems
- APREL will consider a graduate who can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the above requirements.
